Daily maintenance precautions for belt dryers

The belt dryer consists of several independent unit sections. Each unit section includes a circulating fan, a heating device, a separate or shared fresh air intake system, and an exhaust gas discharge system. The operating parameters for the quantity, temperature, humidity of the drying medium, and the amount of exhaust gas circulation can be independently controlled, ensuring the reliability of the belt dryer and optimizing operating conditions. The belt dryer operates flexibly, with wet materials fed in, and the drying process takes place in a completely sealed chamber, providing good working conditions and preventing dust leakage.

The maintenance of the belt dryer is not detailed in the user manual; it only provides a thorough introduction to its adaptability and what to pay attention to during use. It does not mention how to maintain the belt dryer. This is our situation at the time. Today, I will specifically talk about the daily maintenance work of the belt dryer. Daily maintenance:

1. Before each shift, check that the valve pipelines have no leaks;

2. Check whether the grounding wires of each fan and electrical control box are reliable;

3. Check whether the indicators of each instrument are normal and regularly calibrated by the measurement department;

4. All rotating friction parts should be lubricated regularly;

5. Check for looseness in all components and fastening points, and listen for any abnormal sounds; promptly eliminate any faults found;

6. Check the triangular belts, chains, and other transmission mechanisms for deformation, looseness, and wear, and adjust the chain tension in a timely manner;

7. Check whether the electrical safety start and stop devices are sensitive, accurate, and reliable;

8. Any damaged components should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.

Daily maintenance content of the belt dryer: Before each shift, check that the valve pipelines have no leaks; all rotating friction parts should be lubricated regularly; check whether the grounding wires of each fan and electrical control box are reliable; check whether the indicators of each instrument are normal and regularly calibrated by the measurement department; check whether the machine body has vibrations, cracks, damage, or corrosion; test run each motor to ensure normal operation and perform regular maintenance; check for looseness in all components and fastening points, and listen for any abnormal sounds; promptly eliminate any faults found.

The raw materials for the belt dryer are sent into the supporting spiral combustion furnace by the feeding fan for floating combustion, and the generated furnace gas is dust-removed and modulated, then appropriately mixed with air and enters the heat exchanger of the belt dryer. An axial flow fan is installed at the top of the kiln, producing airflow that passes laterally through the material pile to heat the wood. The modulation chamber is equipped with a circulating steam generator, which can appropriately spray steam and adjust the temperature according to the requirements of the belt dryer, ensuring the quality of the wood in the belt dryer. The chamber of the belt dryer is rectangular with slanted walls, with a certain slope at the front to ensure uniform airflow distribution. The rear end consists of an axial flow fan, heat exchanger, and guide plate, forming a complete fan chamber that is easy to maintain and repair. The fan operates smoothly and reliably, with high efficiency and large airflow.
